Underworlds
This work invites to a trip through the imaginary or a dive into unknown worlds. Mystic vision, sometimes vegetal sometimes diabolical, one gets lost in an unreal meditation of a world that would be made of monsters. The Mayans regarded cenotes as a means of communication with the gods of the underworld. They used them as a reserve of fresh water but also as a place of worship. The Dz'onot "sacred wells" in Maya Yucatec allowed to communicate with the underground world Xibalba, led by the gods of death and disease. These images were made in the Yuacatan region. There is no photoshop editing, but a direct view take, the effect being due to the reflection of the water.
